The following question came from Saruwatari Toshiro

What is the proper decalage for the V-tail of Monarch 2m and Monarch D?

I have a couple of Robart Incidence meters handy, so want to make the best use of them for construction.

From : Don Stackhouse

Toshiro,
he correct incidences for the wing and tail are the ones that are molded into the fuselage's wing and tail saddles. Robart incidence meters are nice, but they don't work well at all on a V-tail. We use special jigs here at the factory to set up the incidences when we make the mold. It's going to be nearly impossible to accurately measure the incidence on a completed tail assembly with the ruddervators cut free, which is why we had to go to a great deal of trouble to mold in the correct setting for you. Just make sure you don't distort the tail saddle by pushing the tail down into it too hard when you're mounting it, and everything should work fine.
