The following question came from Richard North

Does the Chrysalis E ruddervator leading edge get any kind of angle or radius sanding? I have beveled the ruddervator and are ready to move on but it seems like it should have an angle sanding to allow it to move up and down when the covering hinge is put in place.

Yes, it gets a bevel downwards and aft from the upper surface leading edge corner. It's described and shown in the end view in Step 9 of the V-tail instructions, or Step 10 of the conventional tail instructions. As a minimum the bevel needs to be a little more than the amount of travel you expect to have in that direction. 45 to 50 degrees is a good number. Also, if you slightly radius the bottom edge corner, it will help the airflow reattach after crossing the hinge gap on the lower surface.

Good luck with your Chrysalis, and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions!
