The following question came from Don

On the Chrysalis 2 electric I am using the V Tail stabilizer. I just wanted to get some clarification. On the triangle strips ...does the widest side of the triangle glue to the stablizer or are you just supposed to trim a tiny piece off the strip to glue into the corner gap?

From : Don Stackhouse

It's not terribly critical. I generally split one of the 1/2" triangle stock strips in half lengthwise to make two pieces of 1/4" triangle stock. I use those to fill the gaps, with the hypotenuse of the triangle against the underside of the stabilizer, and then trim off the excess flush with the fuselage sides (be careful not to score the undersides of the stabilizers!).

Even a 1/4" triangle cross-section will be wider than you need for the V-tail. The V-tail doesn't need much, just enough to fill the gap. The reason for all that triangle stock is to provide all the reinforcement needed between the stab and the fin of the conventional tail.

Also, I have the wing all covered with ultracote and the washout all set. I want to put some white letters on the ultracote with a roll of white monokote. I hear that with monokote you can just apply the letters with windex. Will these letters cut from monokote stick ok to the ultracote?

I'm not entirely sure, but in my experience Monokote on top of Ultracoat doesn't stick very well.

Ultracoat on top of Monokote or onto a bottom layer of Ultracoat works fine. Cut your letters from some white Ultracoat, rub them down in place and run an iron over them to set the adhesive.
