The following question came from William Kautter

Is a 270 Mah Pack too heavy for a Chysalis?

From : Don Stackhouse

A 270 mah battery should be fine, although 150 or 110 is lighter. The Chrysalis was designed with the extra wing area to accept full size radio gear if necessary, so your 270 mah pack is no problem. For very light lift conditions lighter is better, but for most normal sport flying I don't think you'll notice much difference.

If you'd like to save the weight anyway, for short flight tasks (such as the 10 minute rounds common in HLG competitions) you can even use an 80 mah pack. An easy source for those is "Eveready" brand rechargeable 9 volt batteries. Each 9v battery has 6 cells, so two batteries will give you 3 flight packs. Just remember to switch packs between rounds.
