The following question came from Neil

Has anyone modified the Chrysalis for discus launch?

Would you need to reduce/remove the polyhedral? Is the wing strong enough to add tip pegs for discus launch?

From : Don Stackhouse

Back when we developed the Chrysalis, discus launching had not been invented yet. There are quite a few major changes that would need to be made to the entire design to make it discus launchable, so many that by the time it was all done it would essentially be a new design.. I do have some plans for a discus launchable "Super Chrysalis", but I don't expect to be able to fit it into my schedule any time soon; there are a lot of other projects ahead of it right now.
