The following question came from Mike Ackerman-Simpson

How many rubber-bands do I need to attach my Chrysalis wings?

I just got back from my first flights with the Chrysalis using six bands, are four enough?

From : Don Stackhouse

Mike, I usually use four. It's a trade-off, more will hold the wing more securely, but are also less likely to "give" sufficiently in a crash. I also like to run all four bands diagonally across the wing root, two from each leading edge to the opposite trailing edge. This will do a better job of holding the wing in position through the high loads of launch. Any one of these four can also hold the wing on adequately enough in normal flight to get the model down safely. If you run the rubber bands straight across on either side, the drag is lower, but the wing can shift more easily on launch, and at least two bands (one band on each side) must stay intact to keep the wing attached.
