The following question came from Jim Holliman

I m ordering servos for a Chrysalis Mk II, which I threatened to order back in February and will do so soon, and I m going with Hitec servos. Which of Hitec's servos do you recommend for the different control surfaces of the Chrysalis

From : Don Stackhouse

Hitec is fine, in fact they're one of my personal favorites. HS-55's work fine for the spoilers. The torque isn't a big issue there, even an HS-50 can probably handle it. The big problem is the thickness of the wing in that area, anything more than about 7/16" thick is likely to create a bulge in the lower surface covering.

HS-81's are good for the tail surfaces. Space and weight are not highly critical (although unnecessary extra weight is not a good thing), and torque is not a huge issue (even HS-55's or HS-60's could probably handle it unless you are really into screaming dives), but the tail surfaces are on one of the extremities where they can get impacted by stuff during landing, or (more likely) by doors and such while storing and transporting the model. HS-81's are reliable, have a surplus of torque, and are really good for that sort of everyday wear and tear.
