The following question came from Jon Stone thermals@advicom.net" thermals@advicom.net )

What is the recommended CG, and what are the recommended throws for a Monarch D?

From : Joe Hahn

Start at 2 7/8 inches back from the wing leading edge at the root. Most folks settle on that position, including me. I use a little differential(more down travel than up), by a ratio of roughly 75% up to 100% down. Travel measurements should be about 3/4" down and 5/8" up. Experiment with the differential until the plane enters and leaves turns the way YOU like. This varies from pilot to pilot, but I use the measurements here, and recommend then as a starting point.
