The following question came from Roger Blair " )

I see that the airfoil of the EP-5043 propeller (which turns clockwise, when looking forward) has the smooth side being concaved, and a positive camber on the leading edge of the molded-in writing side.

Further, I see this as providing the most thrust with the molded-in writing positioned on the forward face... Am I missing something here?

Yes. That rather old post referred to our (now obsolete) MPS-1 powerplant, which used the white Gunther prop, the same one that's on the Multiplex styrofoam ARFs like the Teddy, Pico Jet and Twin Star, as well as other models such as the electric Zagi. On the Gunther props there is a bunch of molded-in writing on what's called the "face" side of the blade (the other side is referred to as the "camber side", and is the side that should face forwards).

The MPS-1A in your Cub uses the GWS prop, which has the writing on the camber side (as you observed), as well as a frosty surface finish. The face side is glass smooth. You are correct, with this prop the frosty-finished camber side with the molded-in writing on it should face forwards.
