Upon unpacking my new Nymph, I noticed that the wings were
taped together bottom to bottom but they had both
warped.
One has about 3/16" of wash in one has
about 1/16" of wash out...

Mike, the way to get more performance out of a Mosquito class model it to
keep the weight as low as possible. This means among other things that the
wing structure must also be extremely light.
Unfortunately this also means that a certain amount of warpage from time to
time is almost inevitable. Even at the skin thicknesses common in current
state-of-the-art 1.5 meter HLG's, this can be a problem. We could make the
skins heavier and eliminate the warpage problem, but that would also
eliminate the performance!
Heating in an oven to re-set the washout won't work because the temperature
required will cause problems with the foam.
Fortunately there is a much easier low-tech solution that works just fine.
Set your covering iron on low. Twist the wing panel in the opposite
direction from the warp, and run the iron all over the surface, just like
the way you shrink the warps out of film-covered built-up structures. Be
careful to keep the iron moving or you will damage the foam. As long as the
iron doesn't dwell in any one spot, only the surface gets heated, allowing
the skin to adjust, without diffusing enough heat into the foam below the
surface to cause any problems.
Try adjusting the washout a little at a time. It takes a little bit of
practice to get the hang of it, but if you change it too much it's easy to
re-do it.
