The following question came from Woody " )

I'm building the F4U. The middle rib slot on the inboard wing section spar/D box is not dead center - it's offset. Should I build it ST the middle rib is closer to the root or the tip?

    Does it matter?...battery/receiver spacing?

From : Don Stackhouse

It's not a big deal either way. As designed, the largest space between the ribs should be inboard (i.e.: closer to the root). If you're using HS-50 servos, the extra room makes the elevator servo installation easier. Had it not been for that, I would have made that piece symmetrical. The GWS Pico servos are not quite as tall, so it's less of an issue with them.
