The following question came from John Konstantakatos

Can the roadkill series DC-3 can be flown without linking the ailerons.

From : Don Stackhouse

It isn't shown on the instructions, but it's easy to do. Just hook up the ailerons as shown, then mount the rudder servo under the wing and run the pushrod from it back to the rudder and tailwheel.

Just about any of the RK Series models with larger wingspans (or even the short span ones equipped with one of our new higher power motor system options like the MPS-2A) can handle the extra weight. The DC-3 has plenty of weight-carrying ability, especially with the new Li-poly batteries. Even with the old NiMH cells I've flown it with a big 600 mah 6-cell pack and a Hitec 555 receiver. The extra weight of one or even two more servos is not a problem. I've been planning to try some scale split flaps in one, and I was planning to use a separate rudder servo as well. The addition of independent rudder opens up whole new possibilities for maneuvers.
