The following question came from Dave: "Gofli@aol.com" Gofli@aol.com )

Will the P-38 handle 270ma nimh cells?

From : Don Stackhouse

Probably a bit heavy. The best we've tried for long flight times with good performance on the P-38 are the 180 mah NiMH cells from Batteries America (EH Yost). We've tried the 280 mah NiMH cells from Radical R/C, and those are outstanding cells, but just a little too big for the P-38. They're probably OK for long flight times without a lot of wild maneuvers, provided that you have a big enough flying area to handle the wider turns required by the extra weight. We have some larger models planned for future additions ot the Roadkill Series, and we will probably design those around the 280 sized cells.
