The following question came from Bill Worra " )

The B-17 looks great! What kind (size) of speed control will be required?

From : Don Stackhouse

Each of the Boeing's four MPS-1A powerplants pulls about 1 amp at full throttle, maybe a bit more depending on your batteries. The total is therefore about 4 or 5 amps. Cruise is about half that. The Castle Creations Pixie 7-P with ts 7 amp rating is ideal for the Boeing, as well as our other multi-engine Roadkill Series kits. The new Ryan ST that should be available soon uses our MPS-2A twin motor powerplant, and we recommend the Pixie 7-P for it as well.

The GWS speed control with its 2 amp rating is too small for the Boeing, and just not quite enough in the Ryan and the twins, but it works fine in the single-motor MPS-1A powered kits. The Pixie 7-P also performs very well in the single-motor models.
