The following question came from Bud " )

Would you please describe in some detail what the kit parts are made of....balsa? foam? hardwoods? etc.?

I have viewed the pic of the kit and it appears to be quite straight-forward for the builder who wants to "get in the air"! However, I'd like to know more about the materials used that make up the kit.

From : Don Stackhouse

The bulk of the parts are sheet balsa, all laser cut with lots of little tabs, etc. to make them all self-aligning as much as possible. There is a thin strip of basswood in the leading edge of the wings for "ding" resistance, and the same material is used for the wing struts. The higher-stress parts are of 1/64" and 1/32" laser cut birch plywood.
