The following question came from Marc Dickman pignolos@cs.com" )

Do you have any more detailed photos of the underside of the Roadkill flyers?

I am having difficulty in envisioning exactly where to place the radio gear, push rods, etc.
    Where is the CG?

From : Don Stackhouse

There are some photos in the Roadkill section of our website, but some of the best, along with some good building and flying hints, are in Paul Bradley's excellent review of our Roadkill P-51 Mustang on the Ezone at:

http://www.ezonemag.com/articles/2001/jun/roadkill/roadkill.shtml

The other single-motor RK models, such as the Spitfire you're building, all use a similar radio arrangement.

For photos and hints about the P-38, I recommend Thayer Syme's review of our RK P-38 in the September issue of R/C Microflight at:

http://www.rcmicroflight.com/sep01/p-38.asp

You'll need a subscription to R/C Microflight to get access to the P-38 review. It's well worth having one if you plan to do more indoor/backyard/park flying. Just go to:

http://www.rcmicroflight.com

if you need to subscribe.

As far as C/G is concerned, on the Spitfire, Corsair, Me109 and Zero it should be 1.5" aft of the wing root leading edge.

The C/G for the P-51 Mustang is the same, but because the Mustang has 1/2" wide triangular extentions at the leading edge of the root, the measurement is 2" aft of the leading edges of the extentions.
