What is Spyder Foam?

Hello Alfredo.

Spider foam is an extruded type of foam which has a "grain" structure that runs vertically through the foam rather than horizontally or lengthwise like blue, pink, gray, etc. This gives it fantastic qualities for use in high shear loading applications. It can actually be used instead of shear webs in wings if properly designed. It was originally created for the surfboard industry!
