I am pretty sure that it is the only one in Australia but that didn't stop Mike O'Reilly giving it any mercy on the winch. I was a little concerned at its robustness or lack of it when I felt how light it was and then a little more worried when I saw the towhook from hell on the bottom of the translucent fuselage. I asked Mike if he wanted a gentle launch first and he said no, don't worry about it so I gave it an F3b one arm straight up launch and the little thing almost disappeared! It wasn't exactly a great soaring day, with winds gusting up to 10 meters per second but this little plane handled everything and floated around like the giant handlaunch it is and yet managed a very respectable penetration up wind. I was handed the controls and managed to pick a small bump up from about 60 feet and ride it back quite comfortably , but I won't say smoothly (pilot induced). The only thing I didn't really like about it was the quickness at which it got so small!
