In changing RX I was able to get the balance set at where DJ recommends and was amazed at how much better the plane flew and launched. c. I have to second what Derek Boyer has said about the plane redefining what is considered workable lift. This thing will go up on a gophers fart. It also has very good legs for coming home from down wind. I was flying in about 10 mph winds with very light thermals around and was able to get out several times. Coming home from down wind was no problem at all. BTW, my Spectre came in at 183 grams per my brothers Digital Ohaus scale. That is by far the lightest glider I have ever owned or even seen in a 1.5M HLG. Needless to say, I am very pleased with DJ's efforts once again. Now, if only my new Feather XL from Brian Buass would get here my new HLG contest quiver would be complete and ready for the Spring HL season to arrive. See Ya, Pat McCleave Wichita, KS
