    I finally finished the Spectre last Saturday and flew it on Sunday.
The first flight was over 5 minutes in conditions that the observers had
predicted as "no lift".  Now I won't go so far as to say the Spectre makes
lift, but that first flight was impressive.

    Contrary to my usual procedure, I built the Spectre EXACTLY per the
instructions.  It was perfectly trimmed and balanced for that first flight.
No adjustments were necessary.  So far the Spectre has made this old man
(65 on Sunday) look pretty good.

    Thanks for inventing the Spectre - now if I can save my money for the
2M version.
